HYPERVSN and Events: a match made in heaven
After the months of lockdown, a lot of countries are gradually reopening offline businesses, scheduling mass gatherings and overall returning back to normal. Or, rather, to the new normal: naturally, all kinds of safety measures are required to be in place.
Events have always been the most effective lead generation channel for HYPERVSN and luckily, we are already receiving multiple requests to utilise the technology at trade shows, conferences and other events. We encourage our partners to take benefit of this option as well and start reaching out to the local event organisers.
1. Search for the up-to-date event calendars in your country
Every country has a certain relevant association or a government body responsible for the state of the industry and providing the latest updates – follow them on social media and sign up for their newsletters to stay constantly updated.
For example, globally, there is the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry who have issued the framework for reopening exhibitions and B2B trade events. With their ‘blessing’, Germany is planning to give green light to B2B trade shows as early as June.
10times and TradeFair Dates are both great places to start searching for big events planned in your country.
Here is the HYPERVSN database of relevant international trade shows with the updated dates. Please let your Partner Account Manager know if you decide to apply for exhibiting at any to avoid having several resellers at the same event.
Also, various international brands such as P&G, Mars, Chanel, AT&T, Disney etc. hold regular corporate education events. Such events may include conferences, innovation showcases and hackathons – all with the aim of discovering and incorporating the next most innovative solution to improve the way they sell and promote their products and services.
We encourage you to reach out to the local offices of such brands to see if there are any offline or online events of the kind in their pipeline and try joining those to showcase HYPERVSN.
2. Present HYPERVSN as a complete and safe solution to the event organisers / participants
With the updated Events Health & Safety regulations, HYPERVSN becomes all the more relevant to help brands drive traffic to the booths: it provides an immersive experience and maintains the required distance between the device and the visitor – something VR headsets are not able to do.
Some of the proposal ideas might include:
- human holograms and/or event logos that welcome people to the event;
- information boards to guide guests across the venue or highlight agenda points;
- enhance sponsors’ brand visibility by turning a regular sponsor wall into a holographic one;
- visualise the points speakers address on the conference stage and the logos of the companies they represent;
- drive traffic to the exhibitors’ booths at the shows.
Leverage the cases from previous events HYPERVSN and other partners did to strengthen your pitch. Filter the Application Area column per the existing tags to find the most relevant examples.
3. Join the event yourself
If the event looks relevant, you could also consider becoming an exhibitor and/or join a panel discussion as an industry expert there.
When you have a booth at a trade show, leverage these video showreels demonstrating various market applications of HYPERVSN. You can have them looped simply on a laptop or on a bigger screen placed at the stand. It will help address a common question about the real-life applications of HYPERVSN and the brands HYPERVSN have worked with.
When speaking at a conference, make sure there is HYPERVSN Solo / Wall on the stage so that the audience have a clear reference to what the device looks like in reality – after all, no pictures or videos do it full justice. Here is an example of Kiryl, HYPERVSN Co-founder, speaking at the Digital Signage Summit at ISE 2020.
4. Reach out to the British Embassies for support
As a UK-based company, HYPERVSN has an extensive track record of cooperating with the British Embassies worldwide.
You could also support or join the regular events they hold for the local business communities and government agencies. Their network is diverse and high-profile thanks to close ties with other embassies, the local British Chambers of Commerce, British Council offices and the representatives of the UK Department for International Trade.
A permanent installation at the Embassy can be a good idea as well. Such setups are proven to build brand awareness and attract attention of the top brands and organisations that visit the Embassies as well as media.
Leverage ready-made British-related content from the Media Library (i.e. the British flag and symbols, the image of the Queen, London sites etc.) and the examples from this list to build credibility.
We could also help you rent the Embassy premises to hold events and product demos to clients at a friendly rate. Their buildings are very fancy and could set just the right tone for your meetings.
I (Darya) manage Industry Media and Government Relations at HYPERVSN and am already in touch with numerous British Embassies worldwide. If your country falls into the list, I will be happy to make introductions or help you find the relevant contact details – please reach out to me at [email protected].
