HYPERVSN and Billboard Integrations
HYPERVSN is widely used as an independent advertising medium. However, some of the more successful installations out there have been about the integration of conventional advertising channels with our 3D holographic technology.
Stéphane Burlon and his team at Together Plus are the ultimate experts on breathing life into regular billboards with HYPERVSN. They have done installations for Renault, Dyson and Vueling already and share their billboard expertise below.

Clients at the billboard projects are normally agencies who constantly present new technology to their accounts. Very often the main goal for them is to introduce innovation to the accounts’ global marketing and advertising campaigns – help them stand out among the competitors.
It took us 4-6 months to build a strong relationship with such agencies: regular live demos presenting the technology in the correct way (i.e. relevant high-quality content, appropriate background for the devices etc.), actual trials of the product in the field – now whenever they need to do a promo campaign, they think of Together Plus and HYPERVSN.
We have partnered with the agencies that manage the campaigns for the brands at the railway stations here in France. The first installation of the kind was for Renault.
With all the wow-effect, a billboard installation is quite an undertaking though: there might be tricky weather conditions and should anything happen, each time you will need to rent additional equipment to work at 10+ meters high.
If you decide to do one, make sure to rely on the regular HYPERVSN Wall installation requirements and also, review some of our tips:
- Thousands of people walk below the units daily – check the security requirements meticulously:
- double and triple check the units – pretest all of them before the installation;
- such installations are heavy and you might not be able to use wood as the wall structure behind the billboard print – consider some lighter materials;
- the French authorities required us to use a different type of mounts from the ones HYPERVSN produce – might be the case in your country as well.
- Plan for wireless remote access to the units, should that be required by the client:
- use 4G routers to access the units and the Masterbox;
- place electrical timers or smart plugs to power off the Wall.
- Weather and environment specifics at the railway stations:
- pending the duration of the campaign, consider the weather conditions and max / min possible temperature levels. Make sure that the HYPERVSN units are adequately protected from the environment (rain, dust, moisture etc.);
- if the Wall is set up in an open space, test and install the appropriate bird control devices around the billboard, or seal the setup in glass.
Dyson was the campaign by which we had mastered our billboard skill: we had no technical failure with this one whatsoever.
