HYPERVSN Limited Warranty

HYPERVSN Limited warranty is a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty, it applies to HYPERVSN hardware products only. Check out the full warranty here.

Q: What is covered by the warranty?

HYPERVSN warrants that each hardware Product that you purchase is free from material defects in design, material and workmanship when used normally under provided guidelines during the warranty period (the “Warranty Period”).

The Warranty Period commences on the initial activation date of the Product on HYPERVSN CMS or in 3 months following the date the Product is collected by the first carrier from Kino-mo, whichever occurs first, and continues for the period of (for accessories warranty period starts on the date the Product is collected by the first carrier only):

  • Device 1 year
  • Accessories 1 year
Q: Does the warranty cover each component of the Product?

HYPERVSN limited warranty covers each component of the Product for 1 year.

Q: There is a software problem with the Product. Will it be covered by HYPERVSN limited warranty?

Kindly note that software issues are out of the scope of HYPERVSN limited warranty. If you face a software problem, please contact [email protected]

Q: How long are HYPERVSN products are under warranty

The Warranty Period commences on the initial activation date of the Product on HYPERVSN CMS or in 3 months following the date the Product is collected by the first carrier from Kino-mo, whichever occurs first, and continues for the period of:

  • Device 1 year
  • Accessories 1 year
Q: What is the warranty period for repair service and FRUs purchased separately from the Product or used for repair of the Product?

HYPERVSN warrants for 3 months from the date of service

(1) that service will be performed in a competent and workmanlike manner and

(2) that all parts used to service your product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

HYPERVSN also warrants for 3 months from the date of dispatch of FRU supplied separately from the Device.

Q: If the Product was repaired under HYPERVSN limited warranty will it change the warranty period?

All other repaired/replaced Products will be warranted for a period equal to the remainder of the original HYPERVSN Limited Warranty on the original Product or for ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.

Q: There is a consumer law in my country which sets up different warranty period for the Product.

HYPERVSN Limited warranty provides rights separate to rights provided by consumer law. HYPERVSN Limited Warranty benefits are in addition to, and not instead of, rights provided by consumer law and it does not exclude, limit or suspend buyer’s rights arising from consumer law. Consumers have the right to choose whether to claim service under the HYPERVSN Limited Warranty or their consumer law rights. If you would like to claim service under customer law in your country, please make a note of this when contacting [email protected]

Q: I would like to modify the device for my purposes (cut off the power plug, replace the power cord using longer one etc.). Will it terminate the warranty?

According to the HYPERVSN limited warranty damages caused by modifications, repairing or altering of the Product by any third party other than HYPERVSN or its Authorized Service Provider will terminate the standard warranty.

Q: I’ve purchased an accessory from a third party and would like to use it with HYPERVSN Product. Will it terminate the warranty?

Damage caused by any third-party product(s) used along with the Product (e.g. hardware, software, accessories, ancillary equipment, etc.), will terminate the standard warranty.

Q: What is HYPERVSN extended warranty?

HYPERVSN Extended Warranty extends the original product warranty for a period up to two (2) years. To purchase this option please contact your local HYPERVSN representative or contact HYPERVSN Sales team.

Q: When could an extended warranty be purchased?

You may purchase an extended warranty at any moment until the expiration of the limited warranty period.

Q: Will the extended warranty start after limited warranty expiration?

Yes. The extended warranty period starts from the first day after the expiration of the limited warranty.

Q: What is not covered?

HYPERVSN limited warranty is conditioned upon proper use of the Product. Please refer to the point III of Hypervsn Limited warranty to check what is not covered by the standard warranty.

Q: How could I obtain warranty service?

To obtain the warranty service, either the Customer or the Partner (at their sole discretion) shall request return material authorization (“RMA”) by contacting any of the following parties:

Q: I’ve got an urgent service request. Who could I contact in urgent cases?

HYPERVSN Service Team will respond to your request during regular working hours. If you have any urgent requests please contact HYPERVSN Technical Support Team at [email protected], available 24/7 online.

Q: Today is the last day of the warranty period and I need to get the HYPERVSN product repaired. Will the warranty service continue during some period?

To obtain warranty service you need to submit a claim to the service or support team. If the claim is registered during the warranty period (also during the last day of the warranty period) case should be treated as warranty after warranty expiration. If there is no claim submitted to the HYPERVSN team during the warranty period, this case should be treated as non-warranty starting from the next day of warranty expiration.

Q: I unpacked the HYPERVSN product and found it out of order.

You have the right to inspect all Products delivered by HYPERVSN within ten (10) days of receipt. If the product is found DOA you have the right to reject such Products during the said period. Rejected Products will be promptly replaced. To obtain this service please contact [email protected] for RMA.

Q: There are more than 10 (ten) days after receipt. What do I need to obtain warranty service?

Products not rejected during 10 days period will be deemed accepted. In this case, they are subject to HYPERVSN limited warranty. To obtain warranty service contact [email protected] and wait for RMA.

Q: I’ve received HYPERVSN and discover scratches and defects of the exterior of the Product. Will it be a subject for a warranty claim?

Defects of the exterior of the device (Scratches, dents and other cosmetic damage) are subjects for warranty claim unless caused by the customer. The product should not be used before the claim regarding the exterior defects.
