HYPERVSN website attracts 100k+ visitors on a monthly basis, most of which are quality leads. This is a big number and we had to think of a creative way of how to engage and convert them later on. After several experiments the most effective way turned out to be 3D Studio demo process. This article is dedicated to describing what it is, how we set it up and what the results are.

What is it?

3D Studio demo process is a free demo opportunity for the website visitors to have their company logo visualised in 3D. The thinking behind it was that seeing the ready-made holographic content on the device rather than on the regular computer screen has a bigger impact on customers and is more effective at encouraging them to make a purchase.

How did we set it up?

  1. There is 3D Studio Demo on our website, which enables visitors to test some of the product features before buying it.
  2. When a client opens the tool, a pop-up form appears. Upon filling it in, he / she gets an auto-reply with the information on the wait time and the link to the Use Cases page for reference.
  3. A dedicated team member gets this email and creates a 3D model of the logo with the 3D Studio.
  4. Once done, this 3D model is uploaded on to a HYPERVSN Solo and he / she films it.
  5. The file is uploaded on to HYPERVSN YouTube as an unlisted video: only the person with the link gets access to it. Here is a video example of what the client receives.

To affect various metrics, we added SLA and additional steps to the process:

First of all, we started making a call to the client within the first 15 minutes after receiving a request. On the day the client receives the final video, we make the second call to get his / her feedback firsthand.

As the tests continued, we also decreased the wait time from two-three days to one day. One of the things that enabled that was the introduction of the email template: all the dedicated manager had to do to send the file to the client was to add the relevant video link.

To sum the above up, here is the list of required elements:

  • a HYPERVSN Solo M / L on the tripod;
  • 3D Studio;
  • a camera in line with the HYPERVSN Filming & Photography Guidelines on the tripod;
  • a dedicated person for processing requests;
  • a dedicated person for rendering logos and filming them on the device.

What are the results?

The demo opportunity has been available on the website since October 2019.

Every month we keep receiving around 200 requests of the kind. Weekly, 25% of these leads convert into opportunities.

Our next step is to create the product demo for the opportunities leads to pitch our technology and industry solutions in a more targeted way – will keep you all posted on how effective this measure is.

Try adding such a contact form on your website too and share the results with the rest of the Partner community. If you require additional assistance with that, please drop an email to Natalia at [email protected].
